STEAMED ARTICHOKES WITH ORANGE AIOLI DIPPING SAUCE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Marcus Estate in Wylie, Texas in 1995. Tried and true. I love this recipe and make it on a regular basis. Read more . It is so tasty, easy to make, yet elegant. You will get glowing reviews. Ingredients:
8 large artichokes |
2 cups mayonnaise |
8 garlic cloves minced |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon orange juice frozen concentrate |
1 tablespoon orange zest |
Directions:
1. Discard lower leaves and stems and steam artichokes for 30 minutes. 2. Drain and chill then combine remaining ingredients and serve over artichokes. |
