This is a quick recipe to flavor steaks, chicken breast or pork chops before grilling. Increase or decrease ingredient proportions based on your preferences. Prep time does not include marinating. Ingredients:
1 -2 teaspoon kosher salt |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon ground celery seed (optional) |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients. 2. Pierce meat several times with a fork. 3. Sprinkle ingredients over meat. 4. Pound meat with meat hammer or fist. 5. Set in refrigerator for 1-2 hours or overnight. 6. Grill as usual. |
