A simple way to make chuck steak tender and scrumptious. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs chuck steaks (1-inch thick) |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1/4 cup dried onion flakes |
2 tablespoons low-sodium beef bouillon granules |
1/4 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes |
1/8 teaspoon celery seed |
1/8 teaspoon paprika |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
3 medium carrots, sliced |
2 stalks celery, cut up |
3 medium potatoes, sliced |
2 tablespoons water |
Directions:
1. Heat the overn to 450°F. 2. Put a piece of heavy-duty foil in a large baking pan and place the meat on the foil. 3. Stir together the remaining ingredients and spread on top of the meat. 4. Add all veggies and sprinkle the water over top. 5. Fold the foil over and seal securely. 6. Cook 1 1/2 hours or until tender. |
