16 oz beef, top sirloin - separable lean only, trimmed to 1/4 fat, select, cooked, broiled |
6 cloves garlic, diced |
2 large onions, diced |
2 cups carrots, sliced |
16 oz green beans, frozen |
5 cups cabbage |
4 cups potatoes, diced |
3 cups tomatoes, diced |
7 cans (14oz) beef broth or bouillon - canned, ready-to-serve |
12 cups water |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in large pot 2. add 6 cloves garlic 3. 2 large onions and saute 4. add 4 cups water 5. 2 cans beef broth 6. boil medium 1 hour 7. Watch liquid level 8. add water as needed 9. add potatoes 10. add carrots 11. and 3 cups water 12. 2 cans beef broth 13. simmer high from to 1 to 2 hours 14. add 16 oz green beans, frozen 15. 3 cups tomatoes, diced 16. simmer medium 1 hour or more 17. add cabbage 18. simmer medium 1 hour |
