Found this recipe online and I've tweaked it to how our family likes it. Lime gives the marinade a better flavour than lemon. Ingredients:
1/3 cup soy sauce |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1/3 cup lime juice |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
4 -5 garlic cloves |
3 tablespoons dried basil |
1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes |
1 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes |
Directions:
1. Place the soy sauce, olive oil, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic cloves in a blender. Add chili flakes if desired. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed. 2. Pour marinade over meat. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 8 hours. Cook meat as desired. |
