Adapted from my Kabob marinade, this improves any steak you grill. Ingredients:
6 ounces pineapple juice |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1/3 cup cider vinegar |
1/8 cup soy sauce |
1/3 cup catsup or 1/3 cup barbecue sauce |
1 teaspoon ground ginger |
1 1/2 teaspoons honey or 1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. Add with meat to a large shallow dish or to a large zip-lock bag. 3. Refrigerate over night. 4. Remove meat and cook. 5. If you wish to use marinade as a baste; boil it for 10 minutes in sauce pan or microwave first. |
