I love steak with sauces and this sounds like a good Steak Diane. Ingredients:
4 filet of beef (1/4 inch thick) |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons oil |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 tablespoon onion, grated (finely minced) |
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. Fry the steaks in the butter and oil for 1-2 minutes on each side. 2. Remove them (keeping them hot) and add the Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice to the juices in the pan. Stir well and warm through; 3. Add the onion and parsley and cook gently for 1 minute. 4. Serve the sauce spooned over the steaks. |
