From a Hannaford recipe card. Haven't tried but the picture looks delicious! Prep time is marinade time. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs london broil steak |
1 cup bottled marinade |
1 head broccoli |
1 lb baby carrots |
15 ounces loaf french bread |
Directions:
1. Place steak in a gallon-size storage bag and add marinade. Let marinate for at least 1 hour or as long as overnight. Preheat grill to medium high or preheat oven broiler. Grill or broil steak until done, about 5-8 minutes per side, depending on thickness. 2. While steak is cooking, wash broccoli and carrots in cold water, place in a covered casserole and microwave 5 minutes or until just tender. If desired, season with salt and pepper and a bit of olive oil. 3. Cut steak thinly against the grain. Serve steak and veggies with French bread on the side. |
