Steak and eggs...simple, tasty and extremely filling. Ingredients:
4 steaks, thin with some bone |
soy sauce |
3 tbs olive oil |
4 garlic cloves, grated |
salt and pepper |
8 eggs |
cayenne pepper |
salt and pepper |
pam spray or 1 tbs margarine |
steak sauce if desired |
Directions:
1. season steaks with black pepper 2. add garlic and about 3 tbs of soy sauce per steak and rub in 3. coat steaks with olive oil and set aside in refrigerator or over night in coldest section of refrigerator 4. heat non stick pan over high heat 5. sear the steaks on both sides ( brown the steaks) 6. sprinkle some water on the pan and lower heat to cook steaks thoroughly (well done steaks) 7. meanwhile beat the eggs in a bowl and season with cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt 8. spray separate pan with PAM or heat 1 tbs of margarine 9. add eggs and cook over medium heat 10. scramble the eggs in the pan and cook until fluffy 11. serve 1 steak with 1/4 of the scrambled eggs and pass around the steak sauce |
