An easy to make side dish for a great steak or a tasty appetizer. Double or triple recipe and serve in crockpot for a party. From . Ingredients:
1 lb mushroom |
4 tablespoons butter |
4 tablespoons margarine |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
2 teaspoons beef base |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 cup red burgundy wine |
Directions:
1. Wash mushrooms in hot water. 2. Melt butter and margarine; add beef base, onion, garlic powder and black pepper. 3. Simmer mushrooms in mixture until soft. 4. Add wine. |
