This recipe comes from the Starr Estate. I have not made it but have it bookmarked. Anything with pumpkin has my attention. Ingredients:
1 large can pumpkin |
4 large eggs beaten |
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon cloves |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 cup evaporated milk |
1 package yellow cake mix |
1 cup butter melted |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. Blend together pumpkin, eggs, sugar, salt, ginger, cloves, cinnamon and canned milk. Pour into greased rectangular pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top and drizzle melted butter over dry cake mix. Sprinkle brown sugar over butter then top with nuts. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 20 minutes. |
