Cream eggs with irish cheese and chives This is an Irish breakfast dish The best kind of butter to use could be kerrygold brand but you can use anykind you like, same with the Blarney cheese, or if you want just do irish farmhouse cheddar. This is also a nice breakfast dish to serve on St. Patricks day, and you can add some green food coloring. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
8 eggs |
1/3 cup heavy cream |
salt and pepper |
1/2 lb cheddar cheese |
12 fresh chives, diced |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a medium nonstick pan over medium low hear, Whisk the eggs with the cream and salt and pepper. Add the egg mixture to the pan and stir just until softly scrambled. Stir in the cheese and chives and continue to cook for a minute more, then serve. |
