My daughters recipe. Nice alternative to just plain squash or turnip. Simple and tasty. Ingredients:
1 turnip |
1 squash |
butter |
brown sugar |
pumpkin pie spice |
Directions:
1. Cook turnip and squash until tender. 2. Mash with butter, brown sugar (to taste) and pumpkin pie spice (1 1/2 tsp per 2 cups) Mix until smooth. 3. Serve warm with any meal. |
