A warm salad for a warm summer's day. Note that do not dress the salad until its time to eat or the salad will be soggy. Ingredients:
100 g baby calamari, cut |
1 stalk parsley |
1 stalk fresh coriander leaves |
1 piece lime |
1 tablespoon fish sauce |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 teaspoon sugar |
3 pieces hot chili peppers |
1 stalk rocket, salad |
1 stalk lettuce, salad |
1 piece onion, sliced thinly |
Directions:
1. Fry ingredient (A) with with a bit of olive oil and salt it to taste. You may add a pinch of black pepper if you like; set aside. 2. Blend all ingredients in (B) then add in the squid. Let the herbs coat the squid evenly. 3. Wash then pat dry the salads. Put in a bowl along with the onions. Dress the salad with the baby squids. |
