Ingredients:
1 cup squash
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup self-rising cornmeal
1 tablespoon cinnamon
enough vegetable oil to cover squash while frying
Directions:
1. Mix salt, pepper, sugar self-rising flour, cornmeal and cinnamon in a bowl. Batter your squash in this mixture and drop into oil when it reaches 300 degrees or higher.
2. Cook about 10 minutes or until brown. Drain on paper towel
