squash delight!! Ingredients:
1 cup squash |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup self-rising flour |
1/2 cup self-rising cornmeal |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
enough vegetable oil to cover squash while frying |
Directions:
1. Mix salt, pepper, sugar self-rising flour, cornmeal and cinnamon in a bowl. Batter your squash in this mixture and drop into oil when it reaches 300 degrees or higher. 2. Cook about 10 minutes or until brown. Drain on paper towel |
