Ingredients:
4-5 whole(s) squash sliced |
1 whole(s) onion sliced |
12 whole(s) crackers(saltine or ritz) crumbled |
1 whole(s) egg |
1/2 stick(s) butter |
1 can(s) small evaporated milk |
lemon pepper to tast |
garlic powder to taste |
2 cup(s) grated cheese |
Directions:
1. Boil squash and onion in salted water until squash and onion are tender. 2. Drain well. 3. Melt butter. Add to squash. Add cracker crumbs, pet milk, lemon pepper, and garlic powder. Carefully temper beaten egg and add to mixture. Stir in half of the cheese and pour into an 8X8 square casserole dish. Top with extra grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. |
