Ingredients:
10 whole(s) yellow squash (small to medium size) |
1/4 cup(s) butter |
1/2 cup(s) cheddar cheese |
1 whole(s) eggs |
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 cup(s) onion chopped |
1/4 cup(s) milk |
1/4 cup(s) bread crumbs |
1/2 cup(s) water |
Directions:
1. Slice squash. Add water and bring to a boil. Lower to simmer and cook 20 minutes with onions and salt. 2. Remove from hear, drain and add 1/4 cup butter. Mash. 3. Add egg, bread crumbs, cheese, and milk. Place mixture in 8 x 8 casserole dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs and cheese on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350. |
