Basic squash casserole recipe using cans of squash when you can't get fresh squash. Ingredients:
2 (1 lb) cans squash, drained |
1 medium onion, chopped |
2 tablespoons sour cream |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
salt and pepper (to taste) |
breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except for bread crumbs. 2. Pour into medium-sized casserole dish and top with bread crumbs. 3. Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes. |
