Family recipe. Ingredients:
2 eggs, beaten |
1 cup milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
3 cups flour |
4 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Beat all ingredients to form a smooth batter. 2. Drop by teaspoons in hot fat. These little balls will end up in many shapes (some with tails; they turn themselves if you don't put them too close together). 3. Roll in powdered sugar. |
