Ingredients:
1-1/2 cup(s) bread crumbs |
4 chicken breasts |
1 egg |
2 tablespoon(s) french dijon mustard |
1/2 pound(s) shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 pound(s) sliced deli ham cut into strips |
4 tablespoon(s) olive oil |
Directions:
1. Slice chicken breasts horizontally, but not quite all the way through 2. Mix dijon mustard, ham, and cheese in a bowl 3. Beat egg in a separate bowl 4. Place bread crumbs in a separate bowl 5. Heat olive oil in a skillet on high heat 6. Preheat oven to 400 7. Stuff ham/cheese/mustard mixture into each chicken breast 8. Holding the chicken breast pocket together, dip into beaten egg, then bread crumbs 9. Fry one side to a golden brown and place in a greased baking dish 10. Do the same for the remaining chicken breasts 11. Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes |
