Delicious raw sprouted salad. This has been one of my favourite salads for a long time. Great with mixed salad leaves, avocado and in pitta with hummus. Mmmm.. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1 cup mixed sprouts (sprouted mung, soya ect) |
1 cup alfalfa sprouts |
4 cloves garlic (finely chopped) |
2 tspns ginger (finely chopped) |
1 medium spanish onion (finely chopped) |
3 carrots grated |
1/2-1 block of smoked tofu, cubed |
1 apple (granny smith or other crispy sharp variety) cut into small cubes |
juice of a lemon |
olive or hemp oil (optional) |
pumpkin seeds (optional) |
Directions:
