I have my Mom to thank for this recipe, and it works like a charm to remove stains from clothes. I haven't yet found a stain that this won't remove, and it's safe for colours. As a mother of 2 young kids, this is a clothes-saver!!! Ingredients:
1/3 cup liquid dish soap (i use sunlight) |
1/3 cup ammonia |
1/3 cup water |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together, and pour into a spray bottle.
2. Spray directly onto stains, ensuring complete coverage of the stains, and let the pre-treater absorb into the fabric.
3. You can throw the clothes directly into the wash after applying the pre-treater (wait 5 minutes before putting clothes in the wash to ensure absorption), or you can leave them until the next time you do laundry. It works well either way.
