If you like hot yeast bread try this easy recipe. It keeps in the refrigerator for several days, so you could have hot bread everyday if you want. Ingredients:
1 package dry yeast |
2 tablespoons lukewarm water |
3/4 cup oil |
4 cups self-rising flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. 2. Combine all remaining ingredients. 3. Add yeast. 4. Spoon into greased muffin tins, about 1/2 full. 5. Bake at 400ºF. 6. This batter will keep for several days in the refrigerator. 7. Take out and bake as needed. |
