A low sugar/low fat version of traditional holiday spice cookies. Ingredients:
3 egg beaters egg substitute |
1 cup splenda brown sugar blend, packed |
3/4 cup splenda brown sugar blend, packed |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon allspice |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs in a mixing bowl. 2. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, allspice and pepper. 3. Combine baking soda, flour and salt in a seperate bowl. Gradually add to the sugar mixture. 4. Drop tablespoon size portions on a lightly greased baking sheet 2 inches apart. 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until the surface begins to crack. 6. Cool on wire racks. |
