A lower-sugar version of the junk food Chinese favorite. Ingredients:
1 cup splenda granular, sugar substitute |
3 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 cup chicken broth |
1/2 cup water |
2 tablespoons white vinegar |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
1 tablespoon garlic and red chile paste |
2 minced garlic cloves |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, mix together splenda and cornstarch. 2. Stir in chicken broth, water, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, chile paste, and garlic. 3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. 4. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes until thickened. 5. Pour over stir fry, fried chicken, veggies or pork! |
