Ingredients:
1/2 lb pork, cubed |
1/2 lb lamb, cubed |
3 cloves garlic |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1 teaspoon ouzo or 1 teaspoon pernod |
1/2 large lemon, juice only |
chopped tomato |
sliced onion |
salt and pepper |
pita bread |
Directions:
1. Mix the meat with the garlic, ouzo and lemon juice and then mold the meat on to metal skewers and grill or broil. 2. Serve on pita bread, garnished with the tomatoes, onions, and oregano. |
