Ingredients:
4 pounds fresh spinach |
6 sprigs parsley, chopped |
4 green onions, chopped |
1/4 cup butter or margarine |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon dried whole basil |
Directions:
1. Remove stems from spinach; wash leaves thoroughly, and tear into pieces. Place all ingredients in a large Dutch oven (do not add water). Cover, and cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until spinach is limp. |
