Spinach Salad With Strawberries |

This is a pretty salad with a mix of flavours. If you're not going to use it all at once, just fill bowls with spinach, add the other ingredients and drizzle dressing on top. This is adapted from the Best of Bridge: Royal Treats for Entertaining Ingredients:
1 garlic clove, cut in pieces |
2 tbsp of cider or wine vinegar |
1 tsp salt |
1tsp sugar |
1 tsp dry mustard |
1/2 tsp pepper, freshly ground |
6 tbsp olive oil |
8 cups of baby spinach (about 2 -2 1/2 lb), stems removed |
3 hard cooked eggs, sliced |
8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled |
1/4 large purple onion, sliced thinly |
fresh mushrooms, sliced t shaped |
fresh cauliflower, sliced t shaped |
2 cups sliced strawberries |
Directions:
1. Beat first 7 ingredients and refrigerate. 2. Prepare remaining ingredients. 3. Just before serving remove garlic 4. Add dressing and toss everything except below. 5. Top with sliced strawberries and sliced eggs. |
