Not your usual spinach salad. Adapted from a first-place-winning recipe in Horseradish Recipes From the Horseradish Capital of the World , compiled by the International Horseradish Festival. Ingredients:
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish |
1/4 cup finely chopped celery |
1/4 onion, finely chopped |
2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped |
1/3 cup cubed cheddar cheese |
2 cups chopped fresh spinach |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine first five ingredients 2. Add the celery, onion, eggs, cheese and spinach and mix so that the dressing evenly coats the ingredients |
