This is a quiche-like healthy dish. Can be used for appetizer or entree. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package crescent rolls |
1 (10 ounce) bag frozen spinach |
1 teaspoon butter |
1 egg |
1/3 cup ricotta cheese |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1 pinch garlic powder |
1/3 cup breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. Open cresent rolls and press into pie plate. 2. Thaw out spinach in microwave and squeeze to drain water out of it and put it in a mixing bowl. 3. Saute onions and garlic in butter. 4. Add onion mixture to spinach. 5. Add ricotta, parmesan, breadcrumbs, and egg. 6. Putfilling in the pie crust. 7. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes. |
