Kraft has provided this quick and light appetizer. Ingredients:
10 oz frozen chopped spinach, cooked, well drained. |
4 oz can mushrooms, drained and finely chopped |
1/2 cup kraft mayonnaise (or kraft light mayonnaise) |
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper |
2 tbsp chopped green onion |
1 tsp dill weed |
24 party rye bread slices, toasted |
6 slices of american cheese, quartered |
Directions:
1. Combine spinach, mushrooms, mayonnaise, peppers, onions and dill; mix well. 2. Cover each bread slice with one tablespoon spinach mixture and cheese quarter. 3. Place on ungreased cookies sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. |
