Another really easy yet elegant recipe that makes a nice side dish for dinner, lunch or brunch. Ingredients:
4 (10 ounce) packages frozen spinach |
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/3 cup heavy cream |
2 tablespoons melted butter |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350^F. 2. Butter an 8x8 inch baking dish. 3. Cook spinach according to pkg directions. 4. Drain and squeeze out excess moisture. 5. Combine spinach, onion, cream, cheese, butter, salt and pepper in a bowl. 6. transfer to buttered dish. 7. Bake 20 minutes until hot. 8. Serve. |
