Spinach lasagna Ingredients:
4 oz whole wheat lasagna noodles |
16 oz part-skim ricotta cheese |
1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese |
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese |
10 oz chopped frozen spinach |
1 egg |
1 tsp garlic powder |
1/2 tsp dried oregano |
1/2 tsp dried basil |
1/8 tsp black pepper |
16 oz spaghetti sauce |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Boil noodles for 8 - 10 minutes (very al dente). 3. Mix ricotta, spinach, egg, and spices together (and 1/2 tsp salt). 4. Make 3 Layers: noodles, 1/3 mixture, 1/3 mozz cheese, 1/3 parmesan, 1 c. sauce in each layer. 5. Bake covered in foil for 1 hour, remove foil for last 15 minutes. 6. Let stand 15 min before serving. |
