A great step up with the deviled eggs! I found this recipe in a Tast of Home once and it has been a hit every time I have made it... Ingredients:
12 hard-boiled eggs, cleaned |
1/2 c mayonnaise |
2 tb vinegar |
1 tb sugar |
1 tsp pepper |
1 tsp salt |
1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry |
5 strips of cooked bacon, crumbled |
Directions:
1. Slice eggs in half. 2. Remove yolks and set aside whites. 3. Mash yolks in a bowl with a fork and stir in mayo, vinegar, sugar, pepper, and salt. 4. Fold in spicach and bacon. 5. Spoon into the white halves. 6. *Optional (sprinkle with coarse black pepper) |
