This is an unusual way to prepare spinach. My family loves it and there are never any left-overs. Ingredients:
1 10 oz package of frozen, chopped spinach |
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine |
1/4 cup of light cream (or undiluted canned milk) |
2 tablespoons of prepared horseradish |
1/2 teaspoon of salt |
dash of freshly ground pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook the spinach according to package instructions. 2. Drain completely. 3. Add the remaining ingredients; mix well and heat through. 4. NOTES-Horseradish can vary greatly in its intensity . If you prefer a milder flavor, add less than the full amount. |
