Yummy Mexican spinach cheese dip. Serve with tortilla chips. Paula Deen Ingredients:
2 jalapenos,seeded and chopped |
1/2 small yellow onion,chopped |
1 lb white american cheese,coarsely chopped |
1/2 lb yellow american cheese,coarsely chopped |
1-1/2 c half and half |
1 tsp ground cumin |
1/2 tsp pepper |
1 c shredded fresh spinach |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in top of double boiler. Over med-high heat,bring water to boil in bottom of double boiler;reduce heat to med-low. Place top of double boiler over gently simmering water;upper pan should not touch water. 2. Cook 25 to 30 mins,or till cheese is melted,stirring occasionally. Stir in spinach. Serve with tortilla chips. |
