This is an extremely easy and fairly quick main course that is a family favorite. The combination of the different ingredients produces a rich, tasty meal. It is ideal served with a loaf of Italian bread and a toss salad. Ingredients:
9 ounces spaghetti, broken into pieces |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
2 10 ounce packages of frozen chopped spinach |
4 cups shredded monterey jack cheese |
1/4 pound mushrooms,sliced |
2 cups sour cream |
1/4 cup diced onion |
dash of oregano |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Break spaghetti in half. 2. Cook the spaghetti al dente and drain. 3. At the same time cook the spinach and drain. 4. In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients. 5. Place in a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. 6. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
