My version of spinach artichoke dip. It's very cheesy and smokey-very good with tortilla chips or toast points. Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese |
10 oz package green giant frozen spinach or creamed |
1/2 c smoked gouda, shredded |
1/2 c italian cheese blend shredded |
1 jar artichoke hearts in water, chopped |
1 tsp each: garlic powder, hot sauce, lemon juice, onion powder |
Directions:
1. Microwave spinach approximately four minutes (if using regular, squeeze water out) 2. In a medium bowl, microwave cream cheese until soft. 3. Add spinach to the cream cheese and stir. 4. Add cheeses and artichoke hearts. Microwave two minutes and then stir. 5. Continue to microwave until hot. 6. Add garlic powder, onion powder, hot sauce and lemon juice. 7. Serve with tortilla chips and/or toast points. |
