Spinach & Artichoke Dip

Spinach and artichoke dip with a kick.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 medium onion, chopped
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach (thawed and well drained)
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup of shredded monterey jack cheese (divide in half)
1 cup of grated parmesan cheese (divde in half)
2 tablespoons tabasco sauce, sause
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a pan, add onion and cook until soft. (about 5 min)
2. Stir in spinach, artichoke, cream cheese, sour cream, 3/4 cup of monterey jack cheese and 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, tabasco and some salt to taste.
3. Stir until well blended and pour in a 1/2 quart casserole dish and top with the remaining monterey jack and parmesan cheese and back at 350 for about 10 min till cheese melts.
