Spinach and Strawberry Salad |

Light, healthy, sweet, and delicious salad perfect for summer. Ingredients:
2 bunches fresh baby spinach |
4 cups sliced strawberries |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1/4 cup white wine vinegar |
1/2 cup sugar substitute |
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted |
1 tablespoon poppy seed |
Directions:
1. 1.) In a large bowl, toss together the spinach and strawberries. 2. 2.) In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, splenda, worstechire, sesame seeds and poppy seeds. Pour over the spinach and strawberries. Toss to coat. 3. OPTIONS: I use this as a side dish as is, but if you want to have this salad as a meal try adding walnuts, grilled chicken, and feta cheese. |
