An elegant and simple cold appetizer. Great served with water biscuits. Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened |
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained |
6 ounces crumbled gorgonzola cheese |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. Stir together cream cheese and spinach in a large bowl; mix well. Gently fold in Gorgonzola crumbles. Shape cheese mixture into a ball. Roll cheese ball in slivered almonds. Wrap well; chill until firm, about 1 hour. |
