A family favorite and to mix it up I sometimes put some sliced mushrooms in. Ingredients:
2 pounds spinach, washed, cleaned |
8 slices bacon, cut in halves |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Boil spinach in salted water for about 15 minutes and drain off water 2. Put butter and bacon in a frying pan 3. When bacon begins to get crisp, add the spinach and seasonings 4. Mix with a fork and let cook for about 2 minutes |
