A bowlful of this soup will warm you up on a cold day. Served with homemade bread and you have a great meal. Ingredients:
2 medium onions, chopped |
1 t. oil |
4 cloves garlic minced |
2-4 oz. cans chopped green chilies |
2 tsp. oregano |
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper |
1/4 tsp cloves |
2-14oz. cans chicken broth |
4 cups chopped cooked chicken |
3-15 oz. cans great northern beans, rinsed |
Directions:
1. Saute onions and garlic in oil until tender. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients to mixture. 3. Cooker over medium heat for 2-3 min. 4. Stirring constantly. 5. Reduce heat and simmer for at least 15 min. 6. Garnish with shredded cheese. |
