This is a great way to serve tuna from a can. The more horseradish, the spicier. Delicious quick lunch or dinner! Ingredients:
1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1 1/2 teaspoons cream-style horseradish sauce |
1 tablespoon chopped dill pickles |
2 leaves lettuce |
2 slices swiss cheese |
4 slices bread |
2 slices tomato |
2 thin slices red onion |
Directions:
1. Combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, horseradish sauce, and pickles in a small bowl until evenly mixed. Place a slice of Swiss cheese onto 2 slices of bread, and top with a leaf of lettuce. Spread the tuna mixture onto the lettuce leaves. Top with the tomato and red onion slices, and finish with the remaining slices of bread. |
