Spicy Tuna Pasta Toss - W.W. 6 points |

A recipe I got from my mother-in-law. A beautiful way to serve up tuna. Ingredients:
6 ounces tri-colored pasta, uncooked |
12 ounces canned tuna, in water |
1/2 cup yellow bell pepper, cut into strips |
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved |
1/4 cup diced celery |
3/4 cup low salt salsa |
1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise |
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper |
2 tablespoons sliced green onions |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directins, omitting salt and fat. 2. Drain; rinse under cold water and drain again. 3. Combine pasta and tuna and next 3 ingredients. 4. Combine salsa, mayo and red pepper. 5. Add to pasta mixture; toss. 6. Cover and chill. 7. If desired, serve in lettuce lined bowl. 8. Sprinkle with sliced onions. |
