Simple Taco meat that is great tasting with no ADDED salt. I realize that it is not low in sodium but I made this in an effort to cook with less salt. I was surprised to be able to make a good taco meat without all the salt I used to add to it. Great for use in a burrito, taco, or taco salad. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground chuck |
1 can mexican chopped tomato |
1/2 can of mexican style chili bean |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 tablespoon cumin |
1 dash red pepper flakes |
1 teaspoon minced garlic |
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes |
Directions:
1. Brown Beef with chili powder, cumin, peper flakes, garlic and onions. 2. Mash Chili Beans with potato masher to 1/2 smooth consistancy. 3. Add Tomatoes and Beans to Beef and simmer 5 minutes. |
