Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) pure maple syrup or maple blended syrup |
1 tablespoon(s) butter |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon(s) ginger |
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground cloves |
1/8 teaspoon(s) all spice |
dash salt |
1 1/2 cup(s) pecans |
Directions:
1. )In medium sauce pan,combine syrup and sugar.2)Bring to boiling over medium heat,stirring until sugar is dissolved.3)Using a candy thermometer cook syrup with out stirring until temperature reaches 236`f or the soft ball stage.4)Remove from heat.5)Add butter,spices and salt.6)Stir in nuts,then beat with spoon until syrup begins to thicken,and becomes slightly creamly in color.7)Spread on wax paper,separating nuts with a fork.80Cool,then store in airtight containers. |
