A deliciously different way of serving brussels sprouts. Ingredients:
500 g brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved |
1 tablespoon sunflower oil |
1 chili pepper, sliced in rings |
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped |
1 large piece gingerroot, cut into fine matchsticks |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Cook the sprouts in boiling salted water for about 3 minutes, then drain. 2. Heat the oil in a wok or pan, and then stir fry the chilies, garlic and ginger for 1 minute. 3. Add the sprouts, cook for about 2 minutes then drizzle with soy sauce; toss to coat and serve. |
