I only use just a handful of slow cooker recipes. This is one of the best. Ingredients:
1 (2 lb) round steaks, cut into strips |
salt |
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped |
2 onions, cut into rings |
1 (10 ounce) can ro-tel tomatoes |
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained |
bacon, cooked crisp and broken into pieces (for garnish) |
scallion (for garnish) |
sour cream (for garnish) |
Directions:
1. Lightly season steak strips with salt. Place strips into slow cooker then layer over the top peppers, onions, tomatoes and black beans. Cook on LOW for about 8 hours. 2. Remove from crockpot and top with fresh bacon bits, scallions and a mound of sour cream. |
