Spicy garlic shrimp...YUM YUM YUM! Flies off the table in seconds. Recipe source: Sunday newspaper. Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter |
1 lb uncooked cleaned and peeled shrimp |
1/2 teaspoon sea salt |
2 minced garlic cloves |
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped finely |
1/4 cup chopped cilantro |
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice |
Directions:
1. Melt 2 teaspoons butter in a skillet and cook shrimp on high for 2 minutes. 2. Sprinkle with salt. 3. Turn once. 4. Remove shrimp and set aside. 5. In same skillet melt remaining butter and sauté jalapeño and garlic for 1-2 minutes. 6. Next return shrimp to skillet and add cilantro and lime juice. 7. Cook until shrimp turn pink. |
